This Privacy Policy applies to the Weather product and service (hereinafter referred to as "this Product") provided by Guangdong Tianchen Network Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "we", "us", or "our"). Please make sure to carefully read this Policy, and confirm that you have fully understood and agreed to the terms herein before using our product and service. If you or your guardians do not agree to any part of this Privacy Policy, you shall immediately stop using this Product. By starting to use it, you or your guardians agree to our collection, storage, use, sharing, and protection of your personal information in accordance with this Policy.
This Policy mainly includes the following content:
1. The scope, purposes, and methods of personal information collection for the services and functions of this Product. We shall collect your personal information in strict accordance with relevant laws and regulations. If you refuse to provide some information, your use of some services might be affected.
2. This Policy might be updated and we will inform you of the updates according to the method specified in this Policy. If our collection and use of your personal information go beyond the scope specified in this Policy, we will also inform you and obtain your consent.

1. How we collect and use your personal information
1.1 Display of weather data: When you use our weather display service, we need to collect your device identifier information, the approximate geographic location information of your device, and the Wi-Fi MAC address of the device so that you can follow and unfollow the weather in cities in this Product and we can obtain the weather data of your city to provide you with relevant services. When you use this feature, we may obtain your geographic location information through base stations or other sources. In addition, when you search for a city, this Product will access your clipboard based on your actions and identify the content locally. The clipboard information will not be uploaded to our server.
1.2 Push notifications: When you enable the push notification service, we will collect and use your device identifier information (such as the OAID and VAID), the precise geographic location information of your device, and the Wi-Fi MAC address of the device so as to provide you with short-term rainfall forecasts, reminders of unusual weather, weather alerts, and other notifications and services.
1.3 Earthquake alerts: When you enable the earthquake alert service, we need to collect and use your device identifier information (such as the OAID and VAID), the precise geographic location information of your device, and the Wi-Fi MAC address of the device. After you enable the earthquake alert service, we will enable the system Location service (to use the location information service) to obtain your geographic location information and determine the region where you are when we receive alert messages. This allows us to deliver and broadcast earthquake alert messages to you.
1.4 All the aforementioned geographic location information will be obtained through the Weather storage service.
1.5 Weather background animation: To identify the memory status of your device so as to provide you with the weather background animation function, we need to obtain your memory usage information.
1.6 Troubleshooting and function or service optimization: To perform the statutory duty of retaining network service logs, ensure the security of services, and better understand the performance of our app, we will collect information about your use of the functions and your device, which includes your device identifiers such as the OAID and VAID, device model, system version, and system language, as well as network service logs such as the app version, network access methods, error messages, access date and time, and your use of this Product (including browsing, viewing, and searching Weather-related information, your usage frequency, crash data, and fault logs). Such information is used to identify and solve problems that occur during your use of this Product and maintain stable performance of our products and services.
1.7 Help & feedback: If you have any problems, you can provide feedback to us through the app by going to Settings > Help & feedback. We will record your problems and your device information (including the VAID, OAID, OS and app version, and device model). If necessary, we will ask for your consent to obtain your log information for analysis and troubleshooting.
1.8 Push ads: To provide you with more personalized services, with your express consent, we will send product and service recommendations to your device, or display ads in this Product, and conduct statistical analyses of business data. To implement the aforementioned services, we will obtain your device identifier information (including the OAID, VAID, and Android ID) and your geographic location information. You can go to Settings > Security > More security settings > Ads & privacy to disable personalized recommendations. This will not decrease the number of ads you receive, but the ads will be less relevant to you.
1.9 Push weather information: To push weather information to your device, we need to obtain your device identifier information (including the OAID and VAID). The weather information is from vivo Smart Launcher. You can go to Smart Launcher > Settings > More settings > Personalized recommendations to disable the personalized weather information service. When disabled, we will no longer recommend personalized information based on your personal information or persona tags.
1.10 During your use of relevant services of Weather, when you tap to go to a third-party web page, to ensure the consistency of redirecting pages and provide you with a better service experience, we need to use cookie technology to cache your device identifiers, site names, and some numbers and characters, and the third party may obtain your cookie information. We will not use the cookie information for any purposes other than those specified in this Privacy Policy.
1.11 Apart from the usage scenarios listed above, your personal information may also be used for the following purposes:
1) We may combine the information for all services of this Product to create feature models and personas so as to provide you with more personalized and convenient services.
2) The information we collect will not associate with you, but will only be used for business data statistics and business management, and serve as the database for the R&D and promotion of existing or new products and services.
3) We may collect the usage information about the services or features related to this Service and share such information with the public or third parties in a way that will not associate with or identify you.
4) We will use your information for authentication, security protection, anti-fraud monitoring, archiving and backup, customer security services, etc.
5) We may also use your information to evaluate and improve the performance of ad delivery and other promotional and marketing campaigns.
1.12 Under the following circumstances, we may collect and use your personal information without your prior consent:
1) The personal information is directly related to national security and national defense.
2) The personal information is directly related to public safety, public health, or significant public interests.
3) The personal information is directly related to criminal investigations, prosecution, trials, or the enforcement of judgments.
4) The personal information is necessary to safeguard the significant legitimate rights and interests (such as life and property) of you or others, but it is difficult to obtain your consent.
5) The personal information has been disclosed to the public by the personal information subject.
6) The personal information is collected from legally disclosed information, such as legal news reports and government information disclosures.
7) Other circumstances as stipulated by laws and regulations.

2. Purposes and scope of permissions requested
To implement each feature of this Product, we need to request some permissions from your device, including:
1) Network: To obtain weather data and implement the city search and operation features, we need to request your network permission.

3. How we share your personal information
3.1 We will only share your personal information under the following circumstances:
1) Share with specified third parties. With your explicit consent, we will share your personal information with the specified third parties within the scope of your authorization. If you choose to share your content through our platform, your content will be visible within the scope specified by you. Please pay attention to the scope of disclosure.
2) Share with specific organizations as required by law. In compliance with applicable laws and regulations, we may be required to share your personal information to aid in investigative processes.
3) Share with business partners. The weather data display, earthquake alert, short-term forecast, and typhoon path services in this Product are provided by our third-party business partners. To ensure the services work properly, we will share your location information with our business partners on a legitimate, reasonable, and necessary basis. We will require our partners to collect and use your personal information in a lawful and compliant manner through binding agreements or other feasible means.

4) Share with business stakeholders. We will share your information with our subsidiaries or affiliates to implement all product services and functions and conduct internal audits, data analyses, security checks, user research and analyses, and necessary business operations (such as evaluating and improving products, identifying service errors, maintaining existing services, and developing new products) to constantly improve the quality of our services and provide a more complete range of specific software and hardware services.

4. Managing personal information
4.1 Query, modification, and deletion
You can contact us by the means provided in Section "8. How to contact us" to submit a request to query, modify, or delete your personal information. The exercise of your rights is restricted to the scope of the information we collect from you.
Please understand that in compliance with laws and regulations and as restricted by current technical capabilities and security measures, your request to query, modify, or delete your personal information may not be responded to or handled immediately. Once your request is accepted, we will reply to you within 15 workdays. We will respond to your deletion requests within a reasonable timeframe and ask the entities involved to delete your personal information promptly. In the meantime, we will store and isolate your information in a highly secure manner until your request is completed.
4.2 Withdrawal of authorization
You can withdraw authorization for a feature or service by:
1) Turning off the switch for the feature, if available.
2) Contacting us in the ways specified in Section "8. How to contact us".
4.3 Complaint
You can contact our customer service agents if you have any requests or suggestions regarding your use of this Service or execution of personal information rights. If you are not satisfied with our handling, you can file a lawsuit to the court of jurisdiction.
4.4 Please understand that your aforementioned request may not be accepted under the following circumstances, and we will inform you of the reason therefor:
1) You are not the subject of the personal information or your identity as the right holder cannot be authenticated.
2) Responding to your request may cause severe damage to the legal rights and interests of the personal information subject or other individuals/organizations.
3) The information retained is for the purpose of statistics and research only, and the disclosure of the statistics and research results will not identify you.
4) There is ample evidence to prove that you have malicious intentions or are involved in abuse of rights.
5) The personal information is directly related to national security and national defense.
6) The personal information is directly related to public safety, public health, and major public interests.
7) The personal information is directly related to criminal investigations, prosecution, trials, and sentence enforcement.
8) The personal information is required to protect the life, property, and other major legitimate rights and interests of you or any other individual, where it is difficult to obtain your consent.
9) Business secrets are involved.
10) Other circumstances as stipulated by law.

5. How we store your personal information
5.1 Retention period: We will continue storing your personal information while you use this Product. We will retain your existing personal information for as long as necessary for this Service under applicable laws and regulations. During this period, your personal information will not be used for any other purposes unless permitted by laws and regulations. After this period, we will anonymize such information.
5.2 Storage location. Your personal information will be stored and used in the Chinese mainland.

6. Information and data security and relevant measures
To protect the data integrity, we have taken security protection measures that are compliant with industry standards to protect the personal information you provide, and prevent unauthorized access, usage, modification, and public disclosure of your data. We will take any reasonable and viable measures to protect your personal information, including but not limited to the following:
1) Implementing security scans, encryption tools and software, and other reasonable security measures and procedures.
2) Using encryption technology to ensure the security and confidentiality during information transmission and storage, and setting up a security incident team to promptly locate, analyze, and solve problems.
3) Adopting access control and level-by-level permission management measures to ensure your non-disclosure personal information is only accessible to authorized network administrators and staff who have a business need to access the data.
If we learn that the security of our IT data network is compromised or users' non-disclosure information is disclosed to irrelevant third parties due to external actions (including but not limited to external security attacks), notwithstanding other regulations in this Privacy Policy, we will take any measures deemed as appropriate, including but not limited to conducting internal investigations, reporting to law enforcement agencies, and cooperating with law enforcement agencies. If we find that the personal information users provide to our IT data network is disclosed in other ways than what is allowed in this Privacy Policy, we will inform the relevant users in a legal and appropriate way as soon as possible of the information disclosed as well as how much our IT data network is aware of such information, and try our best to take any remedial actions.

If a feature or service is not listed above and requires your information, we will inform you of the content, scope, and purposes of the information to be collected via page prompts, interactive procedures, website notices, separate agreements, etc. to obtain your consent.
